I am completely new to sewing. Can I still join?
Of course! Many of our students start with zero experience. Everything will be guided step-by-step, so you’ll feel supported throughout the process.
If you are not ready to commit the 4-Lesson bundle, we recommend taking our trial class to get the feel of sewing
How will the first class be like if it is my first time.
If you opt for our 4-Class Bundle, here’s how the classes are structured:
1st class:
Learn how to use a sewing machine
Practise sewing straight and curved lines
Take body measurements
2nd class:
Basic drafting
Fabric cutting
3rd class:
Basic pinning
Pressing (ironing)
Hand stitching
4th class:
Learn essential sewing techniques
complete your project
If you opt for our Trial Class, here’s what you can expect in a 3-hour session:
- Learn how to operate a sewing machine
- Understand basic stitching techniques
- Get familiar with essential sewing tools
- Complete a small guided exercise or mini sample
I already have drafting and sewing knowledge but would like to sign up occasionally for specific projects. Do you accept that?
Yes, absolutely! We do accept students with prior experience. We’ll assess your skill level and advise on the estimated number of lessons required based on the complexity of your chosen project.
How many students are there in the class?
Classes are conducted in small groups of approximately 5-7 students. While it is not a fully one-to-one session, teachers will circulate throughout the class to check progress, provide guidance, and assist whenever needed.
Is equipment provided?
Yes, all essential sewing machines and tools are provided during class. However, fabric, thread and bobbins are not included. You may bring your own or purchase them from us at the atelier
Can I use SkillsFuture credit?
Unfortunately, we do not accept SkillsFuture credit
